For the setting we knew that it was going to be based inside, in a girls bedroom.
We wanted to make the bedroom as stereotypical as possible so that it would be obvious that she was hiding as a very girly girl, and that would then juxtapose the transformation into a boy.
Girls bedrooms are generically very pink.
So we looked up lots of pictures and took inspiration from it;
Some problems we faced when finding a setting; was that it would be very hard to light because there would only be one window in the setting that we chose. However we overcame this by getting someone to be the lighting, and to hold different lights around in order to cast the correct shadows and achieve the aestetics that we wanted.
